African American Funeral Programs

The Eula M. Ramsey Johnson Memorial Funeral Program Collection of 800 programs spans more than thirty years of African American funerals in the Augusta area. The collection is indexed by name and is a very valuable resource for genealogy research. Those who donate their programs will be sharing the information with others and they will also still be able to see and use the programs themselves in the library.

Click here to access the African American Funeral Programs Database

If you would like to donate your funeral programs, or have questions about donating them or about the collection, please call the Augusta Library at 706-821-2600, or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
