Deason's Store in Lincolnton, Lincoln County, Georgia

Deason’s Store, also known as Groves’ Store was located on Peachtree Street and Ward Avenue in Lincolnton, Georgia. It was built in 1894 and this photo was taken in the 1950s. The store was a popular gathering place throughout its history. It was operated at various times by Dr. W. L. Groves and C. L. Groves, W. N. Albea, J. R. Smalley, Manly Deason and Jimmy Deason.
