Mitchell-Parks House in Lincolnton, Lincoln County, Georgia

The Mitchell-Parks House, seen in 1910, was ordered as a kit from Sears Roebuck. It sits on the corner of Humphrey and Dallas Streets in Lincolnton, Georgia. According to an unattributed newspaper account (below), the house was constructed before 1907 for Dr. T. P. Mitchell. Each piece of material was marked by color code and number that corresponded to a set of blueprints. J Fortson Murray was the contractor who assemble the residence.
